Nefarious 

 

Nefarious is a tongue-in-cheek side-scroller where you get to play a villain much like other great villains, like Bowser or Ganondorf. The goal in each stage is to kidnap a princess, and then defeat a hero. It's an action platformer with traditionally animated characters inspired by such greats as Earthworm Jim and Megaman.

 

The game is visually stunning and the drawing cues from greats such as Earthworm Jim, we wanted to have classically animated characters with life and personality.

 

Nefarious is about being the bad guy!

 

I made sure to keep the music as fun and exciting as the visuals, employing multiple "pop" brass sections, big driving drum beats and lots of heavy guitars!
